Kenneth Woodruff Obituary

Kenneth Earl "PaPa" Woodruff, 65, beloved husband of Cornelia Jean "Neta" Ackerman Woodruff, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital.

Born on February 5, 1952, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Ryland Woodruff and the late Harriett Gladson Woodruff. Mr. Woodruff was a member of Georgetown Church of God and was US Marine veteran. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of Georgetown; two step sons, Harris E. Carter (Pamela Lambert) of Georgetown and Kevin Julius Carter (Lorraine Broadway) of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Jessie Carter Owens (Brian), Taylor Carter, Caroline Carter and Brandon Carter; three sisters, Julia Feagin (Delbert) of Georgetown, Betty Foxwell (Calvin) of Georgetown and Debbie Goins of Georgetown; three brothers, Ryland Woodruff, Jr. of Pineville, George Woodruff of Orangeburg and Roger Woodruff of Georgetown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Butch Woodruff and Jim Woodruff.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM Monday, August 7, 2017 at Georgetown Church of God with Rev. Terry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.
