John Condon Obituary
Born on June 7, 1947, in Kinston, NC, he was the son of the late John Joseph Condon, Jr. and the late Catherine Manning Condon. Jay was a faithful member of St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church where he served as a youth director and was a third-degree Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles and throwing parties. Jay never met a stranger and had a generous and kind heart, willing to lend a hand to anyone. Among all the things he enjoyed, Jay loved spending time with his family the most, especially his grandchildren. He lived life to the fullest and by his motto, "LOVE, LOVE, LOVE".
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Toni Sirignano Condon of Georgetown; two children, Pat Condon (Amy) of Pawleys Island and Aaron Condon (Mary) of Pineville, NC; three grandchildren, Trey Thames (Anna) of Charlotte, NC, Catherine Condon of Pawleys Island and Abigail Condon of Pawleys Island; three great grandchildren, Calli Thames, Oliver Thames and Grayson Thames all of Charlotte, NC; a special brother, Darrel Doré (Joan) of Pawleys Island; father in law, William Sirignano of Georgetown; two sisters in law, Leslie Moscato of Boston, MA and Billie Wharton of Pawleys Island; and numerous other special family members.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Colleen Thames.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM Monday, December 19, 2016 in the St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church Parrish Hall. The Rosary will be held at 7:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church, Youth Ministry, 317 Broad St. Georgetown, SC 29440
