Jill Arneman Obituary

Jill E. Arneman, age 90, of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on July 7, 2025. Born on March 2, 1935, in Erie, Pennsylvania, Jill graduated from Strong Vincent High School and afterwards pursued a career in nursing. In October 1956, she married the love of her life, Dana Arneman, in Kansas City, Missouri. They shared 60 years of marriage until Dana's passing in 2016. Together, Dana and Jill were blessed with seven children and built a life filled with faith, love, and family. They made their home in Youngstown, Ohio before retiring to Hilton Head Island, where Jill pursued a bachelor's degree in Studio Art from the University of South Carolina. In addition to pursuing her degree, she volunteered with a local organization, Treat the Troops, baking dozens of homemade cookies and sending them to the men and women serving out country in the armed forces in Iraq and other additional locations. Following Dana's passing, Jill moved to Pawleys Island in 2017. Jill was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She found joy in knitting, playing tennis, and serving others through her faith. As a member of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, she was active in the Rosary Makers ministry and knitted prayer shawls as a ministry of the church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dana Arneman; her parents, Dominick and Elizabeth Farrell; and her brother, Thomas Farrell. Jill is survived by her children, Charles F.
