James Frost Obituary

James Frost died on September 26, 2019 in Conway, South Carolina. Funeral services were held on October 6, 2019 at Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church, Rev. Ronald McInnis, pastor.

Mr. Frost was born on May 13, 1950, in Georgetown, SC, to Mr. Joseph Nathan Frost and Mrs. Mary Ella Kimble. After the passing of his mother, at the age of 15, he relocated to Conway, SC.

James found a new home and employment in Conway working on the Capps' family farm, where the children affectionately nicknamed him "Joe". The Capps family considered him as an "adopted" member of their family. James loved farming, and was generous in sharing the bounty from his garden. He was also an outstanding volunteer in his community, visiting the sick and those in need.

Surviving are his sisters: Elnora Frost, Passaic, NJ, Lillian Godbolt, Newark, DE, Mary Smith, Passaic, NJ, Jeanette (Elbert), Bethany Beach, DE, Vallery Frost, Newark, DE, Chernese Lee (Silas), Clifton, NJ, Gloria Frost, Passaic, NJ; his brothers: Robert Frost, Passaic, NJ, and Anthony Frost of Newark, DE; extended family members: Morgan Capps, Ray and Dana Dorman, Buddy and Doris Capps, Clint and Amber Anderson, Jarred and Sherice Shelley. Funeral services entrusted to Wilds Funeral Home, LLC.
