Harrison Ford Obituary

Linen-Knox Funeral Home announces the Funeral Services for Mr. Harrison Ford Jr., better known as "Mainer," age 71 of 185 Frank Williams Drive in the Browns Ferry Community of Georgetown who died on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Ford was the son of the late Mr. Harry Ford and the late Mrs. Irene Robinson Ford of the Browns Ferry Community. Mr. Ford is preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, the late Mr. Vander Ford and the late Mr. Eddie Ford.

Funeral services for Mr. Ford were held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018; at 2 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in the Browns Ferry Community of Georgetown where the Rev. Justin Gamble, Pastor, officiated. Burial followed in the Church cemetery. The remains lied in state in the sanctuary of the Church from noon until the hour of service. Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Linen-Knox Funeral Home on 1623 Emanuel Street.

Survivors include his loving family: five Sisters: Mrs. Zada Collins of the Santee Community; Mrs. Vera Small of the Browns Ferry Community; Mrs. Cleo Priest of the Oatland Community; Mrs. Oleen Beach and Mrs. Roseann Grate, both of Georgetown. Four Brothers: Mr. Harold Castle and Mr. Jefferson Ford, both of the Oatland Community; Mr. Leo Ford of Georgetown, and Mr. James Ford of the Browns Ferry Community. And a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many other Relatives and Friends.

Family and friends may call or visit the home of the Sister Mr. Joe Small and Mrs. Vera Small at 843-527-7945 on 185 Frank Williams Drive in the Browns Ferry Community.
