Gail Dill Obituary

Gail Wilson Dill, 69, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Dill was born the daughter of Rev. Marvin Leo Wilson and Gertrude Flowers Wilson. She worked as Bank Teller for many years at several banks and was one of the original Tellers of the former Andrews Bank & Trust. Gail being a social butterfly current hostess and waitress with Chandlers Restaurant just to visit with her town family and friends. While living in Bamberg for many years, she was a member of the Bamberg Pentecostal Holiness Church; and was active member of the Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church where she served faithfully in the Women's Ministry and Women's Bible Studies. Her greatest enjoyment and love was spending time with her family. Though words could never fully describe her joyous and contagious smiles or the limitless hugs to family and friends, her acts of selfless giving, fervent prayer, and an unconditional love leaves a legacy of a Beloved Mother and Christian Woman.

She leaves behind: a daughter, Amy Lynnette (Mack E) W. Watford; five grandchildren, Travis Brent (Candyce) Watford, Mace E. (Marie) Watford, James Kolbey (Kara) Watford, Hailey Liz Beth Watford, and Thomas Korey (Brooke Cecile) White; six great-grandchildren, Victoria Lane, Prestyn, Case, Kaydence, Kynsleigh, and waiting his arrival in May, Masyn; and a granddaughter-in-law, Chelsea White. She also leaves behind: a sister, Linda (Robin) Barrineau-Powell; and two nephews, Laurice Rogerson "Roger" (Shana) Barrineau and their children, Reese and Savannah; and Christopher Marvin Barrineau.

She was predeceased by: her parents; and a son, Thomas Mark White.

A Home Going Celebration will be 3PM, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be Rev. Dean Baber and Rev. Paul Miles.

The Dill family will receive family and friends immediately after the service in the Family Life Center.

Interment directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home will follow at 5PM in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery.

McKenzie Funeral Home is honored to serve the Dill family.

I met Gail in 2007 and was immediately impressed with this beautiful lady. She has been a good friend to my sister in law. I am saddened to learn of her passing and offer my heartfelt sympathy to all the family. God bless you all.
