Fred Del Sardo Obituary

Fred P. Del Sardo, age 87, of Pawleys Island, SC passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Born October 23, 1937 in Morgantown, WV, he was a son of the late Frank Del Sardo and Mary V. Del Sardo. He proudly served in the US Army from 1957-1959 as a Master Sergeant with the 82nd Air Borne Divison. After his honorable discharge from the service, Fred worked as an Industrial Engineer for several US Steel Companies and attended Precious Blood Of Christ Catholic Church in Pawleys Island. Surviving Fred is his wife of 67 years, Barbara and his daughter, Cathy Chipps and her husband David. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren: Kimberly Chipps and her partner Brad, Kari Park and her husband Joe, Chistopher Chipps and his wife Kim, 3 great grandchildren: Mia Park, Arya Park, Hadley Merritt and his sister, Caroline Suplizio. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Father Paul MacNeil officiating. Inurnment at the church columbarium will immeadiately follow.
