Frances Mackneer Obituary

Frances Lendola Buck Mackneer, age 80, of Georgetown, passed away May 20, 2023 at Prince George Healthcare Center.

She was born on January 12, 1943 in Greenville, NC, a daughter of the late Larry & Edna Boyd Buck.

Frances worked as a computer operator for Maola Milk & Ice Cream and retired after more than 30 years of dedicated service. She loved to go on cruises and she loved her dog, Cayman.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Pajak and her brother, Larry "Buddy" Buck Jr.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Mackneer Strope (James), Michele Renee Mackneer Allen (James Hughes), and Richard Mackneer Jr. grandchildren, Meagan Jones, Jessica Jones, Allie Jones, and Dallas Allen. She is also survived by her brother, Leslie Earl Buck (Charise), a sister-in-law, Joan Buck and a special niece, Lynda Nitke (Don).

A memorial service was held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, 11528 Hwy. 17 Bypass, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
