Frances Alford Obituary
Mrs. Alford was born in Conway, a daughter of the late Albert Booth and late Inez Warren Booth Crigger Zimmerman. Prior to retirement, she was employed by AVX in Myrtle Beach, Homewood Elementary in Conway and Jets Bird Houses in Aynor. She was a member of Poplar Community Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Alford was predeceased by sister Shelva Jean Todd and a brother, Tim Crigger.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Conway are: two sons, Donald Alford (Kristin) of Pawleys Island, SC and Jeffery Alford (Wendy Williams) of Conway; three grandchildren, Peyton Elizabeth Alford, Abigail Louise Alford, and Luke Donald Alford; one brother, Buddy Booth (Nancy) of Conway; two sisters, Lynn Crigger and Pam Crigger, both of Wytheville, VA; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday from Poplar Community Church with Rev. Joshua Keith and Rev. John Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday.
