Etta Siau Obituary

Etta was a wonderful lady whom I had the pleasure of working with. She will be missed. Prayers to the family.

Clay, Shannon and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your momma was such a great lady. Lots of great memories from Pickens street. My mom is out of the country or she would be there tomorrow for sure. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Etta in water aerobics class a few years ago. Never saw her without a smile on her face and a tee shirt over her swim suit. I always enjoyed talking to her and hearing about her family and her travels. She will be missed by the entire class. My deepest sympathy and condolence to her family.

I have such great memories of Etta. We met through a mutual friend years ago in the shag world & enjoyed catching up in the Vista and at SOS. Etta was such a delight to get to know & such a wonderful positive person. She will be missed by many. I know your hearts are heavy and I pray that God will help you through this difficult time.

My heart was saddened upon hearing about sweet Etta's passing. I enjoyed living a few doors down from her -- we spoke almost every morning while she was out walking her pup. We are going to miss her in the neighborhood.

Etta was one of those rare and special people who valued her friendships and family. A beautiful person inside and out, classy, caring, funny, yet warm. She was a dear sweet soul and I will miss her greatly. We were all lucky to have known her and had her as a part of our lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. How to say goodbye to you? My heart aches for this loss! I am so blessed we were introduced to each other back in 1997 as divorced women living in Columbia starting our lives over again! What a wonderful friendship we have had....even when I moved to Augusta we managed to keep in close touch and visiting each other as we could. Great memories made at Pawleys Island, trip to NY and to the beach for SOS! We shared our children's weddings, babies births and our birthdays! My grands will have a piece of you in the hoody towels you made them when each were born! That's the kind of lady and friend you were! We always talked about me moving back to Columbia to be closer but now if I do.....I won't have you?? That makes me really SAD! I know I am at peace knowing you are in heaven watching over us all and will be there at the pearly gates when it's our time! In the meantime know you there will be a lot of friends and family missing you dear sweet lady! Love ya!!

Etta was such a beautiful woman- inside and out! Her love for her family- her love for life- were truly an honor to witness. She lived each day to the fullest and was a blessing and a treasure as a friend. You will be missed dear Etta. You will now watch over your loved ones- they will carry you with them forever.

I always looked forward to our time at the gym.Etta would walk in with that sweet smile and always lifted my spirits. I am so greatful I had the pleasure of knowing such a truly southern Belle. May God bless you Shannon and Clay and know the prayers continue for you.
