Don Myers Obituary

Linen-Knox Funeral Home announces the funeral services for Don Terrell Myers, age 40, of 722 Dunlon Court in Myrtle Beach, who died on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, in Myrtle Beach from injuries sustained from an automobile/motorcycle accident. Mr. Myers is the husband of Chanelle Myers of Myrtle Beach and the son of Michael Myers and Verla L. Myers, both of Murrells Inlet. Mr. Myers is the maternal grandson of George Lance of Conway and Bernice Lance of Murrells Inlet and the paternal grandson of the late Edward Myers and the late Erma Myers. Mr. Myers is the son-in-law of Yvonne G. Linen and Oneal Linen, director of Linen-Knox Funeral Home in Georgetown.

Funeral services for Mr. Myers were held on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Greater Gordon Chapel AME Church in Georgetown where the Rev. Aundry N. Evans Sr., pastor, officiated. Burial followed in the Greater Gordon Chapel AME Church Cemetery. A visitation was held on Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 at Linen-Knox Funeral Home Chapel on 1632 Emanuel St. in Georgetown from 6 to 8 p.m.

Survivors include his loving family: wife, Chanelle L. Myers of Myrtle Beach; mother, Verla A. Lance of Murrells Inlet; father, Michael Myers of Murrells Inlet; one daughter, Makayla D. Myers of Myrtle Beach; one son, Da'Vonte T. Myers of Myrtle Beach, one sister, Shenita Myers of Murrells Inlet; a host of loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
