Don Moulton Obituary

Don Alan Moulton, 75, of Pawleys Island, husband of Elizabeth Blake Moulton, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Tidelands Hospice House in Georgetown after a long illness.

Family and friends may attend a visitation at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church, 901 Highmarket Street, at 1:00pm on Monday, February 29, 2016, to be followed by a memorial service at 2pm.

Don was born in Richmond, VA, the son of John Henry Moulton III and Leland Camlin Moulton. He was a graduate of Winyah High School and Wofford College.

Don's family made their home for many years in Cheraw, SC, where he served as Treasurer of Ina Bearing Corporation. Later in life he and his wife Libby moved back to the Georgetown area where he opened his own business.

Don was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golfing and fishing and loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Professor Kevin Moulton (Susan) of Knoxville, TN; a daughter, Kelly Moulton (Kathy) of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren: Emma Katherine, Elizabeth Autumn, Samuel Wesley, and William Andrew; a brother Wallace Moulton (Charlotte) of Pleasant Hill; and a sister, June Moulton Lee (Wayne) of Moncks Corner.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, William Keith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tidelands Hospice House, 2591 N. Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC 29440 or Duncan United Methodist Church at 901 Highmarket Street, Georgetown, SC 29440.
