David Jayroe Obituary

David Leroy Jayroe, 54, husband of Debra Richardson Jayroe, died Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital in Georgetown.

Mr. Jayroe was born in Georgetown on May 1, 1961, a son of the late Russell Albert Jayroe and Esther Powers Jayroe. He grew up in the Andrews area and attended Williamsburg High School. Mr. Jayroe was a former machine operator at Sampit Lumber Mill and former employee of Georgetown Steel. He attended Black River Original Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Jayroe loved to fish and play the guitar.

Surviving in addition to his wife of Columbia are: a son, David Russell Jayroe of Myrtle Beach; three brothers, Mark Jayroe (his twin brother), Edward Jayroe (Teresa) and James Jayroe (Ellen), all of Andrews; and a sister, Suzanne Jayroe of Los Angeles.

Memorial services will be eleven o'clock Saturday morning, January 2, 2016, at the Family Worship Center. Officiating will be the Rev. Murray Powell. Inurnment will be in Piney Forest Cemetery.
