Daniel Laudone Obituary
Daniel Dominick Laudone, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grand-father, brother, son and friend, passed away on July 9, 2025 at age 82 in his home surrounded by his three daughters and his wife in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
Daniel, mostly known as "Dan" was the type of man that would do anything for anyone. He was someone that never hesitated to give the shirt off his back, lend a hand or a hammer to work, and had the most loving, giving heart for his entire family. His unconditional love will be dearly missed. Daniel was born in New York, New York on March 10, 1943. His number one love was his family, but Daniel was also a successful business owner and carpenter by trade. In 1981, Daniel took a dream to own his very own fish market and Italian delicatessen, and made it a reality in Clark Summit, Pennsylvania. The family business was a great success for 21 years, with his wife, Theresa, as his "right hand woman" along with his children and other family members at his side. Daniel's journey continued as he moved to South Carolina and became a successful U.S Home inspector owner that fulfilled his second dream-to build and work with his hands. Daniel became a well-known member within the community of Pawleys Island, South Carolina for his keen eye in construction and his willingness to always strive for perfection. His devotion and commitment to his Catholic faith and involvement in his church was always a priority. When Daniel was not in the kitchen making his famous pizza, or living up to his Italian traditions, you would find him cheering on his New York Yankees, playing a round of golf with his breakfast bunch, or surf casting in his favorite place-Camp Hero in Montauk, Long Island.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife Theresa Laudone, his daughters Debra Guglielmi, Gina Martinez, Danielle Scarpelli, son-in laws Guy Guglielmi, Samie Scarpelli, Caytano Martinez, brothers Gary Laudone, Ronald Laudone, sister-in-laws Patty Stano, Debra Laudone, Mariangeli Laudone, brother-in-law Nick Stano, grandchildren Nicole Nucero, Johnny Nucero, Alexandra Lightsinger, Johnny Lightsinger, Gabrielle Cola, Daniel Lutz, Gianna Lutz, great-grandchildren Maddox Duff, Grace Lightsinger, Genevieve Nucero, Noelle Nucero, and Marcella Nucero.
