Clarence Washington Obituary
Public Viewing: 5 to 7 PM, Monday, December 29, 2025, in the sanctuary of First African Baptist Church, 601 New Street, Beaufort, SC 29902.
The Body will lie in repose at Bethesda Christian Fellowship on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. There will be no viewing after the eulogy.
Celebration of Life Service: 12 Noon, Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Bethesda Christian Fellowship, 36 Dr. Martin Luther King , Jr. Dr., St. Helena Island, SC 29920. Burial will follow in the Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary St., Beaufort, SC 29902.

Mr. Washington was my teacher in the 5th grade at Broad River Elementary School. He was a father to the entire 5th grade. He was a beautiful soul and as straight up as he was about things he was personally invested in all of us.

Such a Special Cousin. Always made me smile at the mention of his name. He is apart of my best memories of South Carolina. My condolences, prayers and hugs to Cousin Inez, Audrey and all our family. So sorry we could not be there. Much Love!
