Doris Hudson Obituary
Graveside funeral services, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will be Monday, June 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Sampit United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1077 Saints Delight Road, Georgetown, SC.
Mrs. Hudson was a lifelong resident of Georgetown County and a daughter of the late Charles Weyman Morris, Sr. and the late Eva Watts Morris. She was born on September 12, 1928 in the Sampit Community.
She graduated from Andrews High School in Andrews, SC and was a retired Real Estate Agent with Freeman-Johnson Agency in Georgetown.
She loved her family, her cats, and working in her yard growing beautiful flowers.
Surviving is her daughter, Deborah Davis Seigler of Pawleys Island, SC. She also leaves two stepsons, John W. Hudson, Jr. (Downing) of Pawleys Island, SC and Marcus Hudson of Punta Gorda, Florida; four step-grandchildren; five brothers: Charles W. Morris, Jr. of Ashville, NC; Frank D. Morris (Rennie) of Columbia, SC; James L. Morris (Mary) of Lexington, SC; Burness W. Morris (Cheryl) of Jacksonville, FL; Glenn A Morris (Sam) of Georgetown, SC; one niece, several nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Mary Rose Morris.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sampit United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 1077 Saints Delight Road Georgetown, SC 29440 or to the Saint Frances Animal Center, 125 North Ridge Street, Georgetown, SC 29440.
