Carl Gibbs Obituary

Carl Wilfred Gibbs, 64, of Pawleys Island, SC, died on July 17, 2015 at Metropolitan Jewish Health System Hospice, Bronx, New York. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Viewing will take place on Thursday in the sanctuary of the church from 11 AM until the time of service.



Mr. Gibbs was born on September 8, 1950 in Pawleys Island, a son of Julius and Arlene Gibbs. He was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church since early youth and for several years, worked for Rutledge Disposal and Waste.

Survivors include a brother, Walter Gibbs; seven sisters, Nancy Brisco, Barbara Reese, Janie Golightly, Loretta Philgence, Valdena Dozier, Glennis Raphael and Denise Gibbs.
