Michael Camp Obituary
Aiken - Mr. Michael S. Campentered into rest November 25, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, December 5, 2025 at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymonda Speller officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Southlawn Cemetery and Mausoleum.
Mr. Camp, a native of Cherokee County, was a member of Second Baptist Church in Aiken, SC and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Camp; two daughters, Michaela (Christopher) Holmes and Kesha (Mark) Mason; a son, Desmond Camp; two sisters, Robbin Camp (Windell) and Nancy (Kenneth) Clark; a brother, Julius (Cordell) Camp; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held from 3-7 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Michael and my brother Johnny has been friends since their youth days, so there was not a choice in getting to know him, there were four in that group, Vincent Hambright, Larry McCluney, Johnny, and Michael. Michael was always talkative and very nice, he was like another brother. My heart was saddened deeply when I learned of his illness ( he and Norma visited my church a few months ago and in talking to him, there was no sign of illness, he cut up as usual). Death is never easy however Our Father knows what´s best for us always. My prayers for comfort and strength for you, his children,grandchild, Robynn, Julius, and the rest of the family shall have. Blessings
