Patricia Hobgood Obituary
Patricia graduated from Madison County High School in 1955 and earned degrees from Averett College and Carson Newman College, later completing medical technology training at Wake Forest School of Medicine. She worked as a medical laboratory technician and was a devoted member of Buffalo Baptist Church, teaching Sunday School and serving her community with quiet generosity and faith. Patricia loved gardening, crafting, baking, reading, and celebrating with her family. Her life was marked by steadfastness, service, and joy in helping others thrive.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Hobgood; daughters, Angela (Mark) Eckler and Emily (Bill) Walker; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Sharon Koehn.
