Vikki Branham Obituary

Mrs. Vikki Lee Branham, 65, of Blythewood, South Carolina, entered into rest on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Born on May 22, 1960, in Dover, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Albert Lee and Geraldine Hendricks. Mrs. Vikki was a devoted member of the Ridgeway Ward- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the primary organization for more than 25 years, as a family history consultant for 12 years, as a primary teacher for more than 25 years, and served a welfare service mission for 3 years at Columbia SC Bishops Storehouse. Vikki remained true to her passion for service. She dutifully served her community for 15 years in law enforcement- serving as Jefferson SC Town Police, ABC Commission, and South Carolina Governor's Raid Team as an undercover agent before needing to medically retire from the force. In her leisure time, Vikki was fascinated with genealogy, researching family history- especially military records. She was a very thoughtful person, she enjoyed sending cards to those she loved, always wanting to brighten someone's day. She took up gardening and particularly enjoyed growing roses. Vikki enjoyed trips to the mountains with her family, making long lasting memories. She loved animals and children… especially her "grandcats". Vikki is survived by her husband, Stanley Kent Branham of Blythewood, SC; daughter, Ariel S. Branham (Noah Gauthier) of Beaufort, SC; sister, Sharon Carnes (Richard) of Pageland; nieces and nephews, Justin Terry, Ericka Jordan, Breann Jordan; along with many extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents listed above and her nephew, Eric Jordan. The funeral service will be held at 5:30PM on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Blythewood Ward, 1391 Centerville Road Ridgeway, SC 29130. Burial will follow the service in Centerville Cemetery, 867 State Road S-20-67, Ridgeway, SC 29130. The family will receive friends in the Relief Society room at the church prior to the service, beginning at 4:00PM. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
