Susan Price Obituary

Susan Johnson Price, 67 of Columbia, SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, with her son by her side. Born in Harrisburg, PA, on February 2, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Elizabeth M. Johnson.

Susan is survived by son, Wesley Porch (Mahima); grandchildren, Abigail and Ariel Porch; sister, Joanne Rush; stepsons Marvin Porch(Darlene), Billy Wayne Porch and Jonathan "JC" Price (Kim); stepdaughters, Linda Faye Benson, Krista Gray and stepdaughter-in-law, Lindsey Price; step grandchildren, Gracie, Kaylee, Justin, Jr, Aiden, Elizabeth, Meadow, James and Jonathan; nephews, Gene Johnson (Kris),Fred Johnson (Josie), and Chuck Johnson. Special family friend, Paul C. Nowell, and son-in-law, Jonathan White.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husbands, Raymond Lee "Peter" Porch, Sr. and Donald J. Price; brothers, Charles Johnson, Sr., Eugene Johnson, Jr., David Johnson; stepsons, Waverly Porch, Raymond Lee Porch, Jr. Christopher "CJ" Price, Justin Scott Price, Sr., and stepdaughter, Patricia Ann Sparks. She also leaves behind her beloved companions, Tuffy and Coco.

Susan was a member of Eau Claire Baptist Church and was a member of the XYZ Club and the Sharon Derrick Sunday School Class. Susan was a devoted mother, mother-in-law, loving sister, sister-in-law, aunt, grandma and friend to all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Eau Claire Baptist Church,4427 North Main Street, Columbia, SC on Saturday, February 7, 2026.Visitation will be at 11 noon, and the service will begin at 12 p.m. at the church.
