Sandra Andrews Obituary

Sandra "Sandi" Sue Adkins Andrews, 77, of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed peacefully at home on January 11, 2026.

She was born on December 1, 1948, in Charleston, West Virginia to Wilmer Leon Adkins and Reba Cummings.

Sandi will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Her family meant so much to her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Sandi was an active member of Grace Baptist Church in West Columbia and formed lasting friendships with many of the women there. Sandi was a graduate of the University of Florida and spent her working years as an accountant.

Sandi is survived by her son, Jeremy Allers (wife, Jennifer Allers), as well as her daughter, Krystal Truett (husband, Todd Truett) and her son, Dylan Andrews; her grandchildren, Dylan Allers (wife, Jessica), Isaiah Rivera, Justin Allers, Grace Allers, Ethan Allers, Ariella Allers, Gabriel Allers, Zoe Allers, Landyn and Tucker Truett, Damien, Sean and Sam Andrews and Eva Mack; her great-grandchildren, Averie, Autumn-Skye, Odin, and Luke De La Paz; and her nieces, Leona, Jacinda and Shanti and their children.

Sandi was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Adkins and Reba Hughes, husband, Lloyd Winn Andrews, her daughter, Kayla Andrews and her brother, David Fridley.

Services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Grace Baptist Church, 416 Denham Avenue, West Columbia, SC 29169. There will be a time of fellowship with the family beginning at 5:00 pm and the memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm.

The family would like to thank MSA Hospice for the care they provided her, as well as her church members and friends who visited & cared for her over her last few weeks.
