Reginald Myers Obituary

Reginald L. Myers was born April 25, 1967, in Columbia, SC, the son of the late Lonnie E. Myers and Ella D. Watson. He departed this life on Wednesday April 9, 2025, at PRISMA Health Richland Hospital, in Columbia, SC. "Reggie" as he was affectionately called by family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Richland School District Two where he graduated from Spring Valley High School. Reggie loved to cook and worked for many years in the food service industry. He also enjoyed playing basketball and listening to music, dancing, and most of all telling jokes and making others laugh. He was always the life of the party, and his smile would brighten up the whole room! In addition to his parents Reginald was also preceded in death by his brother, Gregory L. Myers; sisters, Deborah Watson, Sonja L. (Michael) and Janice Myers; and sister-in-law, Sharon Lane. Those who are cherishing fond and precious memories are his special friend, Arnetta Taylor; his loving and devoted son, Reggie Myers; grandchildren, Tania Myers, Ta'Moini Brosia, Davante Taylor and Reggie (Sha'quana Bacote) Myers; loving brothers, Jeffrey (Joyce) Myers, Sr. and Christopher (Rosalind) Myers; and a host of nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and dear friends all of whom will dearly him.
