Raynard Brewington Obituary

Raynard Snow Brewington passed away suddenly on February 23, 2026 in Lexington, SC. He was born on October 20, 1982, in Montgomery, AL to Cylette Brewington and Raynard Snow. He accepted the Lord as his savior at a very early age. Raynard was tested and accepted into the Gifted program in Junior High School and graduated from Canterbury High School in 1998 at the age of 16 years old. After graduating, he decided to serve his country by joining the U. S. Army. While serving his country, he developed a passion for serving others in moments of vulnerability and the unknown, in surgical operating rooms.

Ray earned a nursing degree from Jefferson State Community College and completed the Registered Nursing Program at Gadsden State Community College, solidifying both his clinical skills and commitment to compassionate care. Those educational foundations were more than academic achievements; they were stepping stones toward his calling. With dedication, courage, and a heart for service, he embraced the life of a traveling Registered Nurse and Operating Room Technician, answering the call to care for patients wherever he was needed most. His journey reflects not just professional growth, but a deep sense of purpose while using his gifts to bring healing, comfort, and hope across communities far beyond his own. Nursing was more than a profession to him; it was a reflection of his heart. Through skill, dedication, and genuine compassion, he brought comfort and healing to those in need, leaving a lasting impact wherever he served.

He leaves behind to cherish his legacy his loving mother, Cylette Brewington of Birmingham, AL., and devoted father Raynard Snow (Irma) of Wetumpka, AL. Two sisters, Colenita Race of Montgomery, AL. and Chuntenita Davis of Birmingham, AL. Two brothers Joe Snow of Montgomery, AL. and RJ Snow of Huntsville, AL. Five beautiful children: Damien, Daycia, Caleb, April Gail, and Etta Jean Brewington. Aunts include: Darnell Jones of Montgomery, AL., Faye Brown (Benny) of Paducah, KY., LeTonya Brewington & Yolanda Rostick of Killeen, TX., Joyce Allen (David) of Montgomery, AL., Deborah (David) of South America, Alfreda Coleman (Isaac) of Atlanta, GA., and Tanya Snow of Montgomery, AL. Uncles include: Alton Brewington (Gwen) of Montgomery, AL., Larry Snow (Alice) of Jackson MS., Orum Snow (Nicole) of Gilbertown, AL., and Marshall Taylor (Clarena) of Gilbertown, AL. And a host of awesome and devoted cousins and friends.
