Raymond Rembisz Obituary

Raymond A. Rembisz Sr. passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 20, 2025. Ray was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1933. After serving his country with the army in Korea, Ray returned to Pittsburgh and using the computer training he received in the military, Ray took a position with Sperry Rand where he continued his career for the next 40 years. While in Pittsburgh, Ray met and fell in love with Donna Schneider. The two were married on April 12, 1958. After starting a family in Pittsburgh, they moved to Detroit where the couple raised 5 children. Ray proudly served on the White Lake Township Board of Trustees and Oakland County Cable Commission for many years. Ray was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Donna, and is survived by their 5 loving children, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Detroit VA hospital, hospice staff and the Fisher House/Foundation for the support and wonderful care they provided to their beloved father/grandpap in the last weeks of his life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Ray's name to the VA Detroit Fisher House.
