Phyllis Busbee Obituary

Phyllis Carver Busbee, 78, of Swansea, SC, passed on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Robert H. Busbee; children, Christoper Busbee (wife Kim) and Heather Blalock (husband Todd). She was the grandmother of Andrew Blalock, Jacob Blalock, Gian Busbee and Nevaeh Busbee. She was the daughter of Laura Marie S. Carver and Burlie Pickens Carver and pre-deceased by her siblings John Carver and Peggy Gunter. Phyllis worked in communications for 33 years at AT&T and spent her retirement years doing her favorite job, Nana. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of West Columbia. Services will be held at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, Saturday, October 11, 2025, with visitation at 2pm, services at 3pm, with graveside immediately following at Woodridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Cornerstone Church of West Columbia.
