Paul Boswell Obituary

Paul R. (Ricky) Boswell of Lexington, SC, moved to his heavenly home on April 20, 2025. Mr. Boswell was born January 23, 1947 to the late Paul E. and Dawn Surface Boswell in Richwood, West Virginia. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Bonnie Cooper Boswell; children, Marla Johnson, Tara Griffin Woodard (Brian) and Deidre Coursey; six grandchildren, Riley Johnson Harmon (David), Michal Johnson Vigneur (Nick), Cameron Griffin, Austin Coursey, Emily Griffin, Jack Coursey; four great grandchildren; siblings, Robert E. Boswell (Patty), Paula Jones (Bob) and Ronald Boswell.
Mr. Boswell was a graduate of Langley Bath Clearwater High School. He enlisted in the Marine Corps upon graduation and proudly served in Vietnam as a machine gunner on a Medivac Helicopter. He was awarded his Combat Air Crew Wings with three stars and six Air Medals, one with The Bronze Star, along with many other awards. During his working career, he owned Sears Pest Control and Roderick's Custom Builders. Eventually, he retired from Lexington Mortgage Center.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11AM in the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel located in Lexington, SC, with a visitation one hour prior to the service and burial to immediately follow the service at Woodridge Memorial Park.
