Mary Wethington Obituary

Mary Jane Wethington, 90, of Lexington, passed away on August 29, 2025 in Lexington. Visitation will be 1:00 PM on Friday, September 5th, 2025 at Thompson Funeral Home located at 4720 Augusta Rd, Lexington, SC. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM also on September 5th at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow immediately after at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Rd, Lexington, SC. Mary was born in Merced, CA to Ray and Lucile Riley on October 4th, 1934. She married Harold Willoughby Wethington on May 2, 1955 in San Diego, CA. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on February 25, 2018 and was faithful to the end. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and sons Donald and Benjamin. Mary is survived by her sons Paul of Lexington and Harold of Brooksville, FL as well as grandsons, granddaughters as well as great grandsons and great granddaughters.
