Marilyn Mae Morgan (née Miller), 89, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025, at Lexington Medical Center. Marilyn was born on May 3, 1936, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey, to the late Arthur and Edith Miller. Throughout her life, she held a variety of roles that reflected her commitment to serving others and her strong work ethic. Her professional journey included work as a telephone operator, 911 operator, truant officer, and reservationist-each role showcasing her dedication, compassion, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. She is survived by her loving children: Diane and Jim Driver, James and Kathy Morgan, Brian Morgan, and David and Karen Morgan; her cherished grandchildren: William Frost, Kelly Frost, Meredith Morgan, Sarah Morgan, and Matthew Morgan; and her devoted sisters: Ruthann Walker and Ilma Adams. Marilyn was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. Marilyn was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, whose warmth and resilience left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Edith Miller. Marilyn will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her sense of humor, and her quiet strength. Her legacy will live on through those who knew and loved her. Funeral or memorial arrangements will be announced by the family at a later date.
