Margaret Vanover Obituary

Margaret Elizabeth Vanover, 93, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away July 23, 2025, at her home in Columbia, South Carolina. She was born on April 9, 1932 in Twywell, England to the late Ronald and Doris (Thomas) Green. Margaret is survived by her children Michael Vanover, Caroline Lindler, Gary Vanover (Debbie), Kevin Vanover and Glen Vanover. She is also survived by her loving sister, Janet Whittle. She had 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grand-Children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Vanover. Margaret was a very special lady who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and tea time. She was a true brit. Holidays were always special for Margaret. She loved cooking for the family and setting out her best china. She enjoyed Square Dancing too. She will be truly missed by all that knew her. The family would like to thank Victoria Randell and Kelly Hewitt for their love and support along with the wonderful care. Thanks to Amedysis also for their care. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date.
