Lola Kelly Morgan Obituary

Lola Dell Kelly Morgan, 98, of Columbia, S.C. left her worldly body to begin her eternal life in heaven on July 27, 2025. A much loved mother, grandmother, and devout Christian, Dell will always be remembered for her enduring strength, courage, and love of family and church. She was a shining example to everyone of how to truly live a Christian life. Born on May 19, 1927, Dell grew up with her five brothers and a sister on the family farm in Carthage, N.C. where she learned the value of hard work and love of God. Dell is survived by her son, Gary Beavers (Claire) of Mocksville, N.C., her daughter, Sheryl Fox (Norman) of Edisto Island, S.C., grandchildren, Carrie Beavers Benfield, Amie Beavers Blanks (Eric) Elysia Alden Carrison Yelton (Michael) Laura Couturier Carrison Yeomans (Charles), Allen Singleton Kirk Carrison (Wanona), nine great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Dell's life will be held on August 3, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Asbury Methodist Church, 1005 Asbury Drive, Columbia, SC 29209.
