In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
Thank you for being an amazing uncle & friend.
you will always be remembered for that quick wit, loyal friendship, incredible knowledge of almost everything, & yes, the cigarette breaks.

I am so sorry I did not know of John's passing until now. I knew John from working at DHEC and became a friend. He and Nancy were fun and a great couple. After retirement, John would stay in touch and check on me. He was very thoughtful. If you were a friend of John's, he always had your back. He took great care of Nancy when she became ill. I'm sending prayers for comfort for David and the rest of the family.

John was a friend you go ask about any subject. We talked and enjoyed the banter. We met at Saxe Gotha, Nancy would attend our class occasionally, they were a great couple. They are once again together. God Bless them both.

I knew John for years. He worked at Lexington Medical Center some weekends when I was a pharmacy student. He smoked in the little room where we kept the narcotics......before computers, so he had that cigarette handing out the side of his mouth as he typed labels.
Later years as I started the OR Pharmacy he was always willing to listen to questions I had regarding regulations, etc with DHEC. I remember one time there was a situation and I called for advice which he readily gave and then he said, "now when you know this is official, just give me a call".

I have only known John for a relative short time, but during this period I developed a great deal of respect for him. When talking with John, and in talking with others who have known him for years, I learned he was a dedicated witness to and for his Christian faith. There is no doubt where his soul now resides.

I knew John through our mutual efforts in law enforcement. John was a straight and good peace officer.
May God bless you and your family.
