Janet Marie Hawkins September 26, 1962 – October 23, 2025 It is with heavy hearts that we celebrate the beautiful life of Janet Marie Hawkins, who passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Janet was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose love and strength held everyone together. She lived with quiet courage and unshakable resilience, always putting others before herself. Her warmth, laughter, and steady spirit brought comfort to everyone who knew her. She was reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, David Hawkins Sr., and her brother, Billy Antwine. She leaves behind her loving children, Rachel Hicks and David Hawkins Jr.; her precious grandchildren, Zachary and Logan Davis, Caden and Brody Hicks, and Kayla Hawkins; and her brother, Johnny Antwine - all of whom will carry her love in their hearts forever. A memorial service will be held November 4th, 2025 at 12pm, by Thompson's Funeral Home at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, where Janet will be laid to rest with her husband, joining him once more in eternal peace. Janet's legacy is one of unconditional love, strength, and family - the kind that endures beyond a lifetime. Though she is gone from our sight, her spirit lives on in every laugh, every memory, and every act of kindness inspired by her.
