Frances Motte Obituary

Frances Anne Motte, 93, of Columbia, died on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Born May 21, 1932, in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Alexander and Gussie Blanche Keisler Motte. Ms. Motte was a member of College Place United Methodist Church. After retiring as an Engineering Assistant with Bell South, she enjoyed working in the Department of Modern Languages at Columbia College. Ms. Motte was also a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Survivors include her devoted caregiver, Kenneth Savage, of Columbia, SC. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 10 o'clock at Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201.
