Don was a long-time member of the South Carolina Gamecock club. He held numerous leadership roles within the Lexington chapter and was recognized for several awards: including Legendary Fan of the Game in 2015. Mrs. Pat I am sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Don. The good news is we know he is in the arms of the Lord now. Sorry we were not able to be at the service as we were on our way back with the youth group from the church. Sending my love for you and the family!

Don was a long time friend of mine. I went on a lot of SC football bus trips with Don and went to Niagara Falls in April 1991 along with my late parents with Don and the Carolina Fans Bus group.

Have only known Mr Weathers a little over a year. Met him and Ms. Pat at First Baptist Church Irmo. I can truly say Mr. Don was a true "Southern Gentleman". He will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with Ms. Pat and family.
