Dea. Darrell was a great leader in Beulah Baptist Church until he returned to great state of South Carolina. Dea. Davis was a good man, and he was our Chairman of Deacons for over five years. Dea. Davis could pray with power, and his prayers touched the tables of our hearts. Chairman Davis was honest, fair, and always looking to resolve problems in our church.
Dea. Davis was a hard worker in and outside the church for many years. Dea. Davis was our Lead singer and soloist on our Beulah Male Chorus for many years. It was amazing how Deacon Davis joined Beulah Baptist Church, and he increased spirituality to a level we had not seen in our church. Oh our brother would sing his heart out as he inspired an average choir to be second to none. Our choir followed Dea. Davis to SC on two occasions to sing on programs with the best choirs from near and far. Dea. Davis invited my family on a sightseeing trip to Charleston and Myrtle Beach. Inviting us to stay at Mother Noles house on one occasion. I could go on talking about this great Deacon.
To the Davis Family, we could not be in SC due to Serena 's graduation from college; however, we are praying your strength in the Lord. God will see you through this period of bereavement, and He will strengthen you all. God bless you all and keep you strong.
