Dann Agostini Obituary

Dann James Agostini, 57, of Columbia, died on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Dann was born on September 11, 1968, at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, to Gloria Agostini and the late Joseph Ramon Agostini, Sr.

Dann graduated from Richland Northeast High School in 1986 where he played in the marching band. In 1996 he earned his associate degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC. Dann enjoyed many years of employment as a manager in the restaurant and food service industry.

Dann is survived by his mother, Gloria Agostini of Columbia; sister, Dianne Marie Agostini of Columbia; brother, Joseph Ramon Agostini, II of Kennesaw, GA; nephew, Benjamin Samuel Carmine Agostini; as well as his longtime partner, Abigail Olivia Trupp.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 o'clock, Friday, April 17th, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 100 Polo Rd, Columbia, SC, with Father Alexander C. McDonald officiating. A private interment will be held in the Memorial Garden at The Catholic Basilica of Saint Peter.
