Connie Pollock Obituary

Ms. Connie Marie Pollock was born on December 18, 1959, to the late John Clyde and Ethel Bell Pollock. Connie passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, surrounded by her sons and family. Connie was educated in the public schools of Lexington and Richland School District Five and graduated from Irmo High School. While living in Atlanta, GA, she worked at Frito-Lay, and when she returned to lrmo, SC, she worked at District Five until a change in her health occurred. Connie had a passion for her church family, crocheting, and making quilts. Connie had accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was very much at peace. She loved her sons, Alvennie and Terrance, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts. Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings: Bobbie Jean Pollock, John Clyde Pollock, Jr., and McChiven Clyde Pollock, Sr. Although she is physically no longer with us, her love and memories will continue to live on through those who knew and loved her. Connie leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Alvennie (Amy) Pollock and Terrance (Alexis) Pollock; grandchildren, Anastasia Marie Pollock, Alvennie Pollock Jr., Jacob Pollock, Kinsley Pollock, Payton Pollock, and Tiara Pollock; siblings: Princetta White, Annette (Charles) Hall, Kathy (Lanelle) Pickett, Eric (Marilyn) Pollock, Ida (Sanford) Blocker, Tiwana (Greg) Corley, and Brian (Christy) Pollock; and sister-in-law, Carol Pollock. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other loving relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Connie M. My dear sister Connie, I want you to know how deeply you will be missed. Your radiant smile and our discussions about being proud Gamecock fans brought so much joy, and I loved watching you playfully go back and forth with the Clemson fans at church. Most importantly, your caring heart and the love you surrounded your church family, family and grandbabies with will always be remembered. It´s hard to accept that you left us too soon. I find comfort in knowing you're smiling and resting with the Lord. We love you dearly, and I cherish the fact that we spoke just four weeks ago on the phone. Rest peacefully, dear sister Gamecock. You truly deserve it.
