Charlotta Jennings Obituary

Charlotta "Charlotte" Jennings passed away on May 19, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina. Born on October 20, 1957, to Inez and Hoyt Jennings; Charlotte had a fiery spirit and was a force to be reckoned with.
Affectionately known as "Gammie" to her granddaughters, Charlotte was a devoted presence in their lives. She never missed a game or event for her sons or granddaughters, cheering passionately from the sidelines at countless baseball and softball fields. A passionate animal lover, she never met a dog she did not love.
Charlotte had a deep love for horror movies (especially Friday the 13th) and was an enthusiastic fan of classic rock and R&B oldies. She enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. A talented cook, Charlotte's Chicken and Dumplings and Macaroni & Cheese pie will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son Christopher "Boo" Jennings; mother & father additionally her brothers Cephas and Hoyt Jennings; and sister: Sandra King.
Charlotte is survived by her hard-working husband Richard Stevens; son Mitch Jennings and his wife Crystal; granddaughters Lilli, Autumn, and Ava Jennings; her loving sister Carolyn Caramen and Joe; as well as several nieces and nephews.
