Charles Hills Obituary

Charles Leroy Hills was born August 16, 1962, in Aiken, South Carolina, the son of the late Charlie Hills and Claretha Barnes. He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina. Charles was educated in the public schools in Savannah, Georgia, where he attended Groves High School. On May 28, 2005, Charles married the former Dianna Lawson and together they shared twenty years of love and devotion, and a family filled with love. Charles enjoyed a career as an electrician who would help anyone who was in need. He will be remembered for being the life of the party and having a great time laughing and making others laugh. He loved to laugh, tell jokes, work, and he enjoyed sports; but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Those who will forever cherish fond and precious memories of Charles are his loving wife, Dianna Hills; son, Charles Ryan Hills; daughters, Brenda Issac, Selethia Jefferson and Tesha Mason; stepdaughters, Sherell Sumter, Celeste Lawson and Mercedes Lawson; a host of grandchildren; sisters, Rosella Hills and Christina Douglas; and a host of nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
