Austin Marr Obituary

Austin "Oz" Fife Marr, age 69, passed away peacefully at his home on July 27, 2025, surrounded by love. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Oz lived a life full of purpose, pride, and passion. He spent time in Eastern Oregon before eventually settling in South Carolina. A proud American and Army veteran, Oz served his country with honor and carried that same dedication into several aspects of his life. He was a man of strong values and a caring heart-a loyal man, deeply generous, and always willing to lend a hand. Whether it was sharing a story or simply showing up when needed, Oz never let anyone down. Oz was an avid gun enthusiast, outdoorsman, and lover of classic machines. He found peace in hunting and fishing, joy in riding motorcycles, and a unique passion for the Ford Model A. These weren't just hobbies-they were reflections of his spirit: free, grounded, and unapologetically himself. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela; his brother, John; his children, Shawn, Tony, and Angela; as well as eight cherished grandchildren, and two great granddaughters, all of whom will carry his memory forward. Oz will be remembered not only for his love of country and the outdoors, but for the big heart that defined his life. He gave freely, loved deeply, and lived on his own terms. He will be missed by all that have enjoyed knowing him. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
