She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Marion Leo Ploussard, parents Ettore and Consiglia Pulgini Tomassetti, brother Gregory Tomassetti, and granddaughter Jenna Kimble.
Ange was born in Mamaroneck, New York, on August 12, 1930. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church, attended daily Mass, was a member of the Rosary Club, and sang in the choir.
In addition to the many activities and responsibilities at her church, Ange was also a woman of diverse interests. She was a Master Bridge Player, and an avid player of Mahjong, as well as golf and tennis. Ange's hands were seldom idle. When she wasn’t gardening, she was engaged in crochet, needlepoint, knitting, or painting. Ange won several blue ribbons for expertly knitted items she entered in competition at the state fair, and her paintings of flowers and landscapes are cherished by the family.
Above all, Ange's greatest joy was her children and extended family. She relished Sunday family dinners as a time to bring together those she loved with her passion for cooking. Her generational Italian-inspired recipes will live for years to come through the recipes passed down to her children and grandchildren. Ange will be remembered for her quick-witted humor and spirited conversation.
Memories and messages may be shared on her tribute wall.
