Andrew Martin Obituary

Andrew "Andy" Calvin Martin, 73 of Hopkins, SC went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 14, 2025. Andy was a gifted carpenter and talented craftsman. He loved going fishing and loved all his animals. He was truly loved by all who knew him. He was a faithful member of Edgewood Pentecostal Holiness Church in Columbia, SC. He was kind to all who knew him and a man of prayer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Catherine Martin; brothers Jerry, Ben, Clay and Timmy. He is also predeceased by his stepson, Charlie Stocker. Andy is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 48 years: Brenda Neese Martin. Also surviving are his stepdaughters, whom he loved as his very own: Brandie Hughes (Jimmy) and Amy Dildine (Barry); as well as a sister, Joy Martin (Rob). He was a grandfather to Evan, Sarah, Bri, Emily and Camryn, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at Edgewood Pentecostal Holiness Church. The date for the service will be announced at a later time.
