Brother Woods was a larger than life character in my time. He was always a good example to me, both as priesthood leader and a Man in Full. I was a Primary child when he came in to Junior Sunday School, probably about 1959, and he told us that if we were very still and reverent, we just might feel Jesus touch us on the shoulder. I am still waiting for that, and think of it often. He was no-nonsense with us as teenagers and helped to keep us grounded.
My condolences to the entire family. The world has lost a good man. I will always remember him fondly.

So very sorry for the loss of your dad. He was a dear friend of my parents, Paul and Liz Mitchum, from their childhood. Your dads name came up in conversation just recently as my father had tried to telephone him and was recalling a trip to the mountains. I know he will be dearly missed.
