WILLIAMSON, JR., Willis Entered into eternal rest on the morning of April 29, 2005, Willis Willie Leroy Williamson, Jr., husband of Carol Smith Williamson. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Leroy Williamson, Jr. are invited to attend the funeral service of the former, Monday, May 2, 2005 at eleven o'clock. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Sunday, between five and eight o'clock. Mr. Williamson, Jr. was born September 23, 1938 in Charleston, SC, the son of Willis Leroy Williamson and Carrie Hilton Williamson. He was a graduate of Murray High School. He was a charter member of James Island Baptist Church, a former member of The Dorchester Masonic Lodge and the AMVETS. Mr. Williamson had served with the Naval Reserve. He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; one daughter: Grace Yowler of Atlanta, GA; two sons: Roy Williamson and Wesley Williamson, both of Charleston, SC; two step-daughters: Sue Holcomb of Easley, SC and Cathy Owens of Hebron, KY; two step-sons: Jimmy Wilder and Ricky Wilder, both of Andrews, SC; two sisters: Ann Causby of Denmark, SC and Carolyn Kosma of Summerville, SC; 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. I'm truly sorry for your lost.I knew

Willie many years ago and grew up around him.He was several years

older than I,but myself as well as

many others in the neighborhood

looked up to him.I recently spoke with him by phone.He was a friend and a good man.
