Willie Jenkins CHARLESTON - Mr. Willie Jenkins, 74, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Christ Temple Church, 1309 Sumner Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. He will be laid to rest in Greater Olive Branch A.M.E. Church Cemetery, 1734 North Highway, 17, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. A walk-through viewing will be held tomorrow at the mortuary from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Agnes Jenkins; children: Maxine Jenkins, Tyrone Jenkins (Ceslie), Carol Carlow, Willamae Holmes (David), and Patricia Williams; step-daughter, Latoisha Gray; mother, Rev. Henrietta J. Cummings; grandchildren: Sasha Brown (Joseph), Crystal Jenkins, Brittany Jenkins (Benjamin), Desiree Jenkins, Tamiia Jenkins, Dorien Hall, JVontae Jenkins, Devon Holmes, Reagan, and McKenzie Jenkins; siblings: Alma Brown, Abraham Jenkins (Diane), Linda Oree (Rev. Joseph Oree), Alice Jenkins, Maureen Turner (Leon), Frank Jenkins, Charles Jenkins, Sarah McPherson (Herman), and Grasha McLaurin; special sister-in-law, Betty Brown; special friends: Eric Archer and Samuel Greene; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Jenkins is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Abraham Fred Jenkins Sr.; son, Wendell Jenkins; siblings: Elijah Jenkins, Earl White, Henrietta Palmer, and Judy Jenkins.
