Greatly saddened to hear of Willie's passing. She was a mentor to me when I first started my career in fire prevention in the early 1980's and I've thought of her often since then.
Rest in peace my friend.

Sad! I knew the Ross family from Stearns Ky, Loved and dated her brother Johnny when we were young. Willie has many Ross cousins here in McCreary Co. KY. God bless her family. So sorry for you're loss. Peggy Murphy Wilson

Willie was such a special person to me.
She shared much kindness and showed much love to me.
Over the years she gave me craft projects that she made.
She knew I was not a "craft" maker, and so she gave me beautiful things that she had made.
I still have them and think about her so often .
Some of my favorite times with her were at Kmart.
It seems that we were so often there at the same time.
I remember standing in the aisles catching up on our lives.
She will always remain in my heart.
Nancy, I lost your phone numbers but would love to talk with you.
We will certainly be praying for you and your family.
I know you will miss her.
Much love,
Toni Mixon.

We all loved Willie and appreciate the many years she worked in the nursery at Pinecrest. She loved on Darrell and Michael and they loved her to pieces! She brought so much joy to all of us. I'm most thankful for her love to Ashley. The love between those two will never die and Ashley, I'm happy you will always have those memories. Willie, we love you and will miss you. I am so sorry for your loss. Willie worked with my Uncle Mickey, M. D. Kennedy, Jr., at the St. Andrew's Fire Department. My mother was, Juanita Kennedy Martin. She had the post office in Pierpont for many years before she passed away in Feb. of 2005. Willie and Henry were good friends of my whole family. She will be missed very much.
May God comfort your family during this time.
