William Weeks Obituary

Hello. Another year and I am praying for the family.

Mrs.Weeks and Family, I was so sorry to hear about your loss. Billy was special to me as a friend and customer at the bank at South Windermere (where I worked with Joyce Vaughn and Ellen Blakeney). We (Ron and I) also had our insurance with him for many years. I lost my husband in 2009. My heart goes out to you all. God Bless. Gena Ginnetty (Travelers Rest, SC)

i am not quite what words i can say to comfort you during this time. i decided to say what comes from my heart. i am sorry about your father he was a great man and has a great family. the weeks were always very respected on james island i allways. And I will always will be thankful to your daughter Beth she saw a young girl be bullied in step in took her under her wing , that young girl was me. your dad was a strong and a kind hearted man so its no surprise his kids were amazing. i am sure that when he went to heaven they had the golden carriage for him. now he is honorable angel. but that's no surprise he was an angel on earth. my heart, thoughts, and prayers goes out to all of you. i love you.

Mrs Weeks, Beth & Family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. As you know Mr. Weeks has always been very special to me and my family. I'll always remember when he started his State Farm Agency with Mrs Weeks helping out and also taking care of the family. Mr Weeks could always make everyone have a better day with his bright smile or a word or two to make you laugh. Every time I have run into you in the past year or so he still had that very welcoming smile!!! All the memories will keep him in your hearts forever.

Marilyn - Carolyn and I were deeply saddened by the passing of Billy. We will never forget how Billy's State Farm office took care of us during "HUGO". He will be missed by many. Ed and Carolyn Blitch

We were saddened to learn of Billy's passing. We immediately thought of those times together in Fort Johnson Estates when the kids were small and we had those neighborhood parties.

It is with a heavy heart that we heard of Billy's passing. I remember the good times growing up in South Windermere--playing football with Billy, and growing up next to the best next door neighbors in the Estates. I also remember Billy always having a smile on his face. Billy and your family's helping hands in 1982 were invaluable and will forever have a place in our memories and hearts. May God grant you peace.

Beth, Hutch, Mrs. Weeks, Kenny, Mark and Scott..Mr Bill was a James Island icon...everyone knew him and everyone loved him..just as he had a smile, hug or handshake for anyone he met. We will all miss him and I hope that you will find comfort amongst your friends and family on the Island. God Bless you all and Mr. Bill you will be missed

Many of my favorite memories of our long years on James Island include Billy. He loved people. He loved being around people. He was always interested in what I was doing, how things were going in my life. He was a great example of warmth, loyalty, an enthusiasm for good things and was always, always pleasant to be around. He was a powerful man with a big heart. I will forever be able to see that smile!!

Ms. Marilyn, we were sorry to hear that Mr. Billy was gone. I always enjoyed the time we got to spend with y'all. Just know he is in a wonderful place. By keeping him in your thoughts and your heart he will always be here. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Billy will forever be in our hearts.
