D "Mule" Skinner nuke rigger and retired USNR sailor
January 28, 2022
My condolences to the William Veno family. I met Veno on swing shift as rigger app in 1979-80. He was a cool general foreman in shop 72. He had the back shift working like a well tune watch. He loved to come to the Yardbird dinner for riggers, crane operators, etc in North Charleston in the 21 century.
Rest easy Sailor, we have the Watch.

Uncle Roy you were a man of Integrity and faith in the Lord. You always had a smile on your face and enjoyed people especially your family. You were my Nana Dot brother. I remember many talks in the driveway at your house and at Nana's. RIP Uncle Roy Thoughts and prayers for the family during this time.
