William "Bill" M. Summers HOLLYWOOD, SC - William "Bill" M. Summers, 51, of Hollywood, SC, entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 21, 2014. There will be a Gathering of Friends Sunday, August 24, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. His Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, August 25, 2014, in Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 5412 Highway 165 at 6:00 p.m. William "Bill" was born May 15, 1963 in Bluefield, West Virginia, son of the late Ronald King Summers and Patsy Ruble Summers. Bill was a graduate of Bluefield College, a Certified Flooring Inspector and former owner of S & S Carpets. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Church and also attended The Chapel of the Holy Spirit. He served as an Air Minister for WKCL Radio and was the former music director for Ravenel Baptist Church. He was the WMUMC Upward Basketball Coach. He is survived by his son, Alexander "Alex" McKinley Summers of Hollywood, SC; aunt, Juanita Ruble Marrs (Bill) of Bluefield, VA; uncle, Kenneth Summers (June) of Maggie Valley, NC; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Former spouse, Beth Sessions Summers of Mt. Pleasant, SC.
